Important Notice on Stocking and Shipping of Formic Acid, Calcium Formate, Acetic Acid and Sodium Acetate during the National Day Holiday

2025-09-29

Dear Customer:

Hello! The National Day holiday is approaching. Considering the domestic logistics shutdown period, the shift arrangement of the Chemical production workshop, and the recent supply situation of raw materials, to prevent your production from being halted due to "material shortage" and the impact on order delivery, we hereby provide a comprehensive explanation of the details regarding the stocking and shipping offormic Acid, calcium formate, acetic acid, and Sodium acetate. We suggest you make plans in advance.

Ⅰ. Core Time Nodes: "Deadline" for Stocking Up/Shipping and "Recovery Period"

1. Production suspension and resumption time: From September 28th to October 6th, only a few personnel will be on duty in our formic acid and acetic acid synthesis workshops as well as the calcium formate andsodium acetatedrying and packaging workshops to maintain inventory. Production will resume on October 7th, and new batches of products can be normally arranged for delivery starting from October 8th.

2. Logistics suspension and restart schedule:

- Starting from September 28th: Most national trunk logistics (such as Deppon, Anlun, SF Express, etc.) will enter the "shutdown countdown", only processing orders that have been warehoused before the festival, and no longer accepting new less-than-truckload shipping demands.

- From October 1st to October 6th: Only an "emergency logistics channel" will be retained, serving urgent orders from core customers in the medical and food additive sectors (extra communication on freight and delivery time is required, and only self-pickup in prefecture-level cities is guaranteed).

- Starting from October 7th: Logistics service points will gradually resume operations, but trunk transportation will require a 1-2 day dispatch cycle, and normal national delivery times will resume from October 9th.

Ⅱ. Key Tips for Product Inventory Preparation: Avoid Risks by Considering Characteristics

Due to the different physical properties, storage requirements, and recent market demands of various products, the following details should be given priority when preparing inventory:

- Formic acid (85% industrial grade / 99.5% food grade): As a liquid chemical product, it requires dedicated anti-corrosion tank trucks for transportation and is affected by temperature (it is prone to crystallization at low temperatures). For pre-holiday inventory preparation, it is recommended to prioritize ensuring "immediate-use inventory". If long-term storage (more than 15 days) is required, please inform us in advance, and we will provide a "crystallization prevention storage guide".

- Calcium formate (industrial grade / feed grade): Due to the recent increase in demand from downstream construction and feed industries, inventory turnover has accelerated (current spot inventory can only cover 10 days of regular orders). It is recommended to prepare inventory at 1.2 times the "daily monthly usage" to avoid "order queuing" after the holiday.

- Acetic acid (glacial acetic acid / 30% dilute acetic acid): Food-grade acetic acid is affected by the supply of acetic anhydride as raw material, and there is a risk of price fluctuations after the holiday. Dilute acetic acid requires anti-leakage packaging for transportation. Placing orders before the holiday can lock in the current price, and we will also upgrade the packaging to "thickened polyethylene drums" for free.

- Sodium acetate (anhydrous / trihydrate): Trihydrate sodium acetate is prone to deliquescence at low temperatures. For pre-holiday shipments, an additional "moisture-proof inner bag" will be added. If your storage environment has a high humidity, it is recommended to control the inventory preparation within "15 days of usage" to avoid caking due to long-term storage.

Ⅲ. Out-of-Stock Risk Warning: These situations may affect your production.

1. Post-holiday order backlog: The 10 to 15 days following the National Day holiday are traditionally the peak period for chemical product purchases. During this time, products such as formic acid and acetic acid may experience a situation where orders are queued for 3 to 5 days. If your production does not stop during the holiday or you need to resume production immediately after the holiday, not stocking up before the holiday will directly result in "no materials available".

2. Uncertainty in logistics: In some regions, the delivery time may be extended after the holiday due to weather and transportation capacity scheduling issues (for example, the northern regions may experience early frost in the first ten days of October, affecting road transportation). Pre-stocking can avoid the production downtime caused by "logistics delays".

3. Transmission of raw materialfluctuations: The prices of upstream raw materials such as methanol and sodium carbonate have been unstable recently. Product quotations may be adjusted after the holiday. Locking in orders before the holiday can fix costs and reduce the pressure of rising costs in the future.

Ⅳ. Inventory Preparation and Order Placing Suggestions: A Guide to Efficiently Avoiding Pitfalls

1. Calculate the inventory: If your production needs to operate continuously (no shutdown during holidays), it is recommended to prepare inventory based on "daily usage × 12 days (9 days of holidays + 3 days of buffer after the holiday)". If production stops during the holiday, prepare inventory based on "10 days of usage after the holiday resumes".

2. Clarify order priority: Orders confirmed and paid for before September 22nd can be prioritized for full truckload or less-than-truckload shipment to ensure delivery before the holiday. Orders placed from September 23rd to September 27th will only guarantee urgent orders from core customers. Please note "Emergency for National Day" when placing the order, and we will prioritize inventory coordination.

3. Confirm delivery details: Please provide "contact person and phone number for receiving goods during the holiday" when placing the order (to avoid inability to receive goods due to changes in on-duty personnel). If you need to temporarily store the goods in our warehouse (for shipment after the holiday), please communicate in advance (the free temporary storage period is up to October 15th).

Ⅴ. Holiday Service Assurance: If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at any time.

During the holiday period (October 1st - October 6th), we will have dedicated customer service representatives and logistics specialists on duty in shifts. If you have any needs such as "order tracking, inventory inquiry, and urgent replenishment", you can contact us at any time through the following methods:

Duty customer service hotline: +86-18931780198 (same number for WeChat)

For the stability of your production and the smooth delivery of your orders, we once again suggest that you plan your inventory preparations as early as possible! Thank you for your long-term trust and support. We wish both of us a peaceful and smooth holiday!
